Charles A. Lisner, M.D.

Dr. Lisner was raised and educated in Hampton Roads, Virginia, and received his bachelor of arts degree as an Echol's Scholar from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. He earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, followed by internship and graduate medical training at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. Upon completion of his medical training, he was credited as a specialist in the field of internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has been active in the American College of Physicians as well as the American Medical Association. During his years as a physician, he has cared for many local and area business and community leaders and their families. Dr. Lisner's special interests are in preventive health, cardiovascular disease, pulmonary medicine, diabetes and rheumatology.
